It has been a while since I have written anything on here, but at times it is necessary for me to take a break, then come back when I feel inspired to share my insights once again. I think it is important to not underestimate the stress we are living amongst since coronavirus has entered into our world. I just have not felt able to write anything of clarity, and I think that is an important thing to keep in mind when working with the creative or accessing information from within, you have to feel it–you cannot force it.
The Scorpio Full Moon
So the Scorpio Full Moon is this Thursday May 7th 2020. Ive never used a crystal ball, but sense that this Full Moon is great for scrying with one or any divination for that matter. As Scorpio is a water sign and one that represents the waters deep underground and therefore, deep within, we are granted access to those layers of information we long to know but are just out of reach. Like trying to grab onto water, or a vision, or a dream–it slips between your fingers. You cannot possess it, only know or experience it.
As you sit, feel, and come to work with the energies of this Full Moon in Scorpio May 2020 recognize what is flowing through the waters beneath you. The blood of the earth and the souls of the dead. With the Sun in Taurus, we are reminded of the life giving force that is the Earth, the Sun, the Air, the Plants, and all of Life; while the Moon in Scorpio represents the evolution and transformation that is the death of all that is alive, has once lived, or will live.
The Goddess Tiamat
If I had to pick a Goddess to represent this Full Moon it would be Tiamat, the ancient Middle Eastern Goddess of the Primordial Sea. She represents both salt (which is the earth) and the element water, a perfect fit for the Taurus-Scorpio axis of this phase of the Lunar cycle.
Tiamat is the creative and destructive forces of being, and reveals to us the Martian energy of this Full Moon. Scorpio is ruled by Mars and also Pluto, engaging these energies requires strength, courage, and sincerity–because you will find the truth about yourself when you go looking.
So if I had a crystal ball, I would look into it and see what emerged from beyond the veil, but since I don’t have one, I can just as easily look into a bowl of water, a mirror, or into my own soul to see what lurks in the deepest parts of my being–waiting to be received and invited up into this physical world.
